The Nawfia Development Union U.S.A. (NDU-USA) Washington DC Metropolitan Chapter is delighted to host the 2024 NDU-USA National Convention. 

Theme: Infrastructural Development for Youth Empowerment and Community Wellbeing in Nawfia

Date:  July 26 – 28, 2024. 

Friday, July 26, 2024 – Attendees’ Arrival & Hotel Check-In

As usual, please join other convention attendees, upon arrival, for a special welcome reception in the NDU-USA Community gathering place (Ebe). Please check with the hotel front desk or any of the Washington DC or National NDU-USA Officials listed on the last page of this letter for the specific suite that will be serving as our gathering place.

• 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Breakfast on your own
• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Convention General Meeting

• Refreshments & Lunch will be served during the meeting
• 7:00 PM – 2:00 AM: Convention Gala Night –

• Dinner will be served between 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Prompt) 
• Individual Sightseeing Tours of Washington, DC are also possible. Please indicate your intentions to the NDU-USA Washington, DC Chapter Officials.

• 8:00 AM– 10:00AM: Sunday Brunch by private arrangement
• Check-out at 12:00 noon

Be sure to request the “NDU-USA” Rate to receive the group discounted rate. Hotel parking is complementary and there is adequate parking for all. The rooms in the reserved block are few and are available on a first-come first-served basis!  Attendees are, therefore, urged to reserve their rooms as soon as possible, but no later than June 20, 2024, to be guaranteed a room at the group discounted rate.

THE NDU-USA 2024 CONVENTION COLOR BROCHURE

Plans are underway, as usual, for a colorful brochure to commemorate the NDU-USA 2024 convention in Washington, DC. We are appealing to everybody to please subscribe for one family page and to contact at least three or more family friends to take a full-page congratulatory family or business message Ad. One full page for a personal/family message is $100. One full page for a business advertisement is $200. Inside or back cover page on a first-to-come basis is $500. Inside front cover usually for business Ad is for the highest bidder. Please send your pictures, messages. 

Please send all your material and payment before June 30, 2024, to allow adequate time to compile the brochure and go to press. Absolute cut-off date is July 5, 2024.
